This device works in the same way as the single use batteries in your probe. It screws on to the OTS and provides power to keep the probe working at its peak. When the rechargeable battery runs low it adjusts its power output so the probe recognizes the voltage drop and indicates a low battery condition in the same way that it does with single use batteries.

This device pays for itself, no more buying, shipping and disposing of single use batteries.
No more down time due to dead batteries and/or forgetting to order replacements. If you ever let the rechargeable battery die you can get enough power to last the rest of the work day with a quick 15 minute recharge.
